My name is Izlarin ( pronounced Is-Larin ). I lost my third place, a late-night hookah bar, due to covid and I've been looking for a new one since. I might open a coffee shop here. I enjoy playing with perspective, so Izlarin might not be the only character manning the bar.

-I enjoy programming/scripting. I mainly use bash and python, but I
bounce between C++, Java, and Javascript as well. I'm getting more
into Linux ricing and containerization with docker recently.
-I want to make programs and applications that allow people to come together and better their communities. There is so much information out there that can help people if they only knew it was there. |

-I try to stay up to date with the world and my local community. I
think a large part of burnout comes from people walling themselves off
from politics so they only hear the really terrible stuff that
breaches the wall.
-Meta-civics, or how people think and talk about civics,is also really interesting. -The more people participate, the lighter the load gets. |

-I am very prosocial, pro-society. I like people and want to help
people like people.
-I think the reason bigots are so vocal now isn't because there are suddenly more bigots, but because not enough non- bigots are anti-bigots. -Too many people have mistaken Soma for dopamine. -I like working on projects that bring people together in real life. I am a child of the internet, but if irl goes it will take the digital world with it. |
